Able Partners

About Able Partners

Able Partners is a women-led venture capital firm founded in 2016 and based in New York City. The firm invests at the early stage in consumer health and wellness brands, guided by its proprietary framework called "The Wellness Gap" — the growing divide between rising economic prosperity and stagnating physical and mental well-being. It was co-founded by Amanda Eilian and Lisa Blau, both Harvard Business School alumni with backgrounds spanning entrepreneurship, private equity, and consumer investing. The firm targets companies across five wellness categories: body, mind, home, community, and connection. It favors brands grounded in science and clinical evidence, including those addressing areas often considered stigmatized, such as mental health, addiction, menopause, and alcohol use disorder. Its portfolio includes over 60 companies across consumer health, biotech, and digital health. Notable investments include Spring Health, Oura, Maven Clinic, Midi Health, COMPASS Pathways, Function Health, Bumble, Blueland, Daily Harvest, OneSkin, and Necessaire, among many others.
