Ag Startup Engine

The ASE effort was launched in 2017 to help address two fundamental gaps that prevent agricultural startups and entrepreneurs from being more successful in Iowa: early seed stage investment and organized mentorship from successful Iowans and Midwestern entrepreneurs. The mission of Ag Startup Engine is to serve as the conduit between early-stage agricultural startups and investors. We are passionate about equipping entrepreneurs who focus on solving hard problems in the agriculture industry with the tools needed to build successful, industry-changing solutions. Entrepreneurs are at the center of everything we do. We aim to build a world-class community of ag entrepreneurs, industry partners, and investors by serving as the bridge between these groups. As experienced founders, we understand what it takes to succeed and are committed to supporting cutting-edge businesses that are changing the agriculture industry. ASE invests $25-100k into each company via equity, safe, or a convertible note. We are not picky about the instrument.
