About MGV
MGV, short for Maschmeyer Group Ventures, is an early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2017 and headquartered in San Francisco, with an additional presence in New York. Co-founded by Carsten Maschmeyer and Marc Steven Schröder, the firm focuses exclusively on enterprise software and SaaS startups across the United States, with investment activity also spanning Latin America and Israel.

The firm targets a select number of founders per year to ensure a high level of individual support, with typical check sizes of up to $750K, often co-investing alongside a lead investor.
Its sector focus spans InsurTech, FinTech, PropTech, healthcare, AI, and machine learning, and platform infrastructure. Notable portfolio companies include Modern Health, Observe AI, Prodigal Technologies, Authentic, Genus AI, and Telivy, among many others across its two funds.
