Accredited investors only

To sign up as an investor, you’ll need to be an accredited investor under U.S. securities law. Most people qualify one of these ways:

  • Income — over $200,000 on your own (or $300,000 with a spouse/partner) for each of the last two years, and you expect the same this year, or
  • Net worth — over $1 million, not counting the value of your home.

You may also qualify if you hold a Series 7, 65, or 82 license in good standing, or through certain professional or entity categories. If any one of these fits you, you’re good to go — just confirm below.

By checking this box, I certify that I am an “accredited investor” as that term is defined in Rule 501(a) of Regulation D (17 C.F.R. § 230.501(a)), promulgated under Section 2(a)(15) of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (15 U.S.C. § 77b(a)(15)). I understand this means I satisfy at least one of the categories set forth in Rule 501(a). These categories include, for individuals: (i) having individual income exceeding $200,000, or joint income with my spouse or spousal equivalent exceeding $300,000, in each of the two most recent years, with a reasonable expectation of reaching the same income level in the current year; or (ii) having an individual net worth, or joint net worth with my spouse or spousal equivalent, exceeding $1,000,000, excluding the value of my primary residence. I acknowledge that Rule 501(a) provides additional qualifying categories — including, among others, persons holding in good standing a Series 7, Series 65, or Series 82 license; certain directors and executive officers of the issuer; “knowledgeable employees” of a private fund; and qualifying entities — and I certify that I, or the entity on whose behalf I am registering, meet at least one such category. I further certify that the information I have provided is true and accurate, that I will promptly notify Ask For Funding if my accredited investor status changes, and that Ask For Funding and Ecra Ventures LLC are entitled to rely on this certification.
