Freedom Sports Foundation is a high-growth social enterprise registered charity transforming how children, schools, and communities experience inclusion through sport, education, and employment. We design and deliver immersive, hands-on programs — including wheelchair AFL, wheelchair basketball, inclusive arts, and employment pathways — that don’t talk about inclusion, they let people live it.
Our model works across schools, disability providers, sporting bodies, corporates, and government, delivering turnkey programs that create measurable impact while remaining operationally scalable. With delivery already embedded across dozens of schools and community settings, our programs are trusted by educators, families, and partners because they are authentic, evidence-led, and delivered by lived-experience leaders.
Led by founder Chris Henderson, who brings national-level wheelchair sport credentials and deep connections across education and sport, Freedom Sports combines elite delivery, storytelling, and systems thinking to create real social change — building confident young people, inclusive communities, and pathways to meaningful participation and employment.
We don’t build programs around disability — we build environments where ability is impossible to ignore.
Our mantra is SEE. BELIEVE. DREAM. ACHIEVE.
