My name is Todd Moeggenberg, I am Founder/CEO of Strictlyfriendly.com. We were founded in 2025 in the United States in Lake Ozark Missouri. We are seeking funding for Feature Acceleration, Infrastructure Scale, Marketing and Legal Compliance. We already have a publicly available prototype. Our platform is designed to solve real life problems with loneliness, depression, social awkwardness and social isolation. No matter if you move to a new area, traveling for work or just trying to grow your circle of friends.

Strictly Friendly acts as the bridge from digital matching to offline reality. By centering the user experience around local group activities and shared interests, we remove the awkwardness and friction of making new friends as an adult.

Strictly Friendly doesn’t combat loneliness with online chat rooms. We solve it through real-world density and structured social interactions. By introducing users via localized events, like a group attending a NASCAR race or a local radio meet-ups, we lower the barrier to entry for lonely or socially anxious individuals. We provide the safety, transparent preferences, and group dynamic required to turn digital profiles into genuine, real-life support networks

We are living through a historic loneliness epidemic. The surgeon general has labeled social isolation, a public health crisis as damaging as smoking. Despite being more digitally connected than ever, people have fewer real life. Friends, leading directly to rising rates of depression. The market is broken because the existing platforms that are designed to keep users looking at a screen. Rather than interacting in real life.

Traditional social media networks monetize passive scrolling, which data shows increases feelings of depression and isolation. Dating apps focus entirely on superficial, romantic matches, leaving a massive gap for purely platonic connection

Why exactly is our platform better at solving real life

We are facing a global loneliness epidemic. In the United States  alone there are over 90 million people who are lonely and depressed, yet every major social platform is built for online scrolling or romantic dating. There is a massive, underserved gap for people who simply want to find platonic, real-life friends who share their specific passions. The solution, Strictly Friendly is a social discovery platform that moves people offline through interest-driven community events. Unlike dating apps, we focus entirely on group compatibility, event safety, and transparent social preferences. We are bridging the gap for people who are socially awkward, busy with daily life. New to a area, traveling  for work or pleaser to connect, using modern technology by giving them a platform and encourage them to connect  in real life. We have such a great divide in the United States and in the world. And just because we have different opinions, religious values, or political beliefs we still have things in common. This platform helps bridge the gap by using common interests to bring people together.

What proof do you have that people want to use or buy your product?

We have almost 300 users over 300 activities in 100 cities 163 friendships made and climbing daily. We cracked the code on organic, hyper-local distribution. We secured major ecosystem partnerships with NASCAR and local talk radio in St. Louis. This gives us immediate access to trusted, highly engaged audiences at a near-zero customer acquisition cost

Our plan for growing Our company to  positive revenue in the next 5 years?

Premium discovery features, localized brand partnerships, sponsored community events and analytics.

Why am I the right person to build this company?

I didn’t just look at market data on loneliness, I experienced the friction of trying to build a new community as an adult. I am building the tool that I, and millions of others, desperately need. I’ve spent most of my life traveling for work and find it very awkward and lonely to be in around places and people you don’t know. Over the years, not having any way to solve this problem, unless I personally invested my time in awkward situations to fill that gap. That’s why I came up with this idea.

Most founders try to scale social networks by burning millions on digital ads. My unique leverage is strategic partnerships. I brought NASCAR and major regional radio to the table at the MVP stage because I know how to unlock massive, existing communities without traditional ad spend. We didn’t just sit on an idea. We built the MVP, launched the beta, and secured enterprise-level partners within months. I am a founder who focuses on execution velocity, data-driven iteration, and growing a product. I am not building a casual passion project. I am building a highly scalable tech platform with clear revenue loops tied to local events, premium features, and brand integrations. I know how to solve the hardest problem in consumer tech hyper local user acquisition. While other teams rely on VC dollars to buy users, I used our MVP to close major distribution channels with NASCAR and St. Louis radio. I know how to speak to major brands, capture mass-market attention, and turn offline loyalty into digital density. I have the product vision to see exactly where the social landscape is broken, the execution speed to build and launch a beta in months, and the commercial instinct to turn funding  into a nationally scalable playbook.

I have had to overcome adversity.

When I look at adversity, my perspective is a bit different than most tech founders. Over 35 years ago, as a young man, I made some serious mistakes, got into major trouble, and ended up spending multiple years incarcerated. I know exactly what it feels like to be completely cut off from society. During that time, I experienced the ultimate form of social isolation. I know the mental toll of having zero positive community interaction, and I know how hard it is to rebuild your life and find your people from absolute zero. Coming out of that, the odds of building a successful life were completely against me. But I took total accountability. I spent the next three decades in the construction industry learning how to work harder than anyone else, managing tight margins, and scaling physical operations from the ground up I didn’t let my past define me. I used it to build an unshakeable foundation of grit, resilience, and execution. When things get brutal in a startup, other founders fold under the pressure. I don’t. I know how to look at the worst possible circumstances, navigate a way out, and build a winning strategy. That is the exact execution mindset I bring to Strictly Friendly

We are not looking for capital to help us figure out how to build this. Our engineering engine is already fully constructed and operational. I lead a structured, highly scalable technical team featuring a Lead Developer overseeing our core product architecture and two dedicated full-stack developers. Additionally, one of our engineers brings an entire on-demand development team to our stack. This unique setup gives us the agility of a lean startup with the raw engineering horsepower of an enterprise company. We can scale our development capacity up or down instantly based on product roadmap demands without the overhead or friction of traditional hiring. With over 30 years of operational management experience and this engineering engine, we are fully equipped to deploy this $1 million round directly into rapid growth.

We have systematically de-risked this business from both a commercial and a legal standpoint. We own the complete defensive perimeter for our platform, including secured copyrights on our core source code and federal trademark and logo protections. As we leverage our high-visibility partnerships with NASCAR and major radio networks, our brand equity is fully protected. Copycats cannot clone our backend tech or dilute our market identity. We aren’t just pitching a loose software concept; we are pitching a secure, institutional-grade digital asset that is legally fortified and ready to scale.
