My name is Rochelle De Forrest, and I'm a mental health professional dedicated to serving the rural community of Ashland, Oregon. I provide therapy to a diverse group of clients, and I specialize  in helping young people who have experienced trauma. 

The path to becoming the specialized clinician my community needs has come with a significant financial weight. To provide the highest level of trauma-informed care—integrating EMDR, CBT, and Psychodynamic approaches—I have pursued advanced degrees and extensive post-graduate certifications. Today, the resulting student loan debt stands as a significant hurdle to the long-term sustainability of my private practice. 

My goal is to continue providing a "kitchen table" of safety for those experiencing mental health challenges, but the monthly pressure of these loans limits my ability to further expand my services or offer sliding-scale care to those most in need. Support in repaying these loans would not just be an investment in my career; it would be an investment in the healing of the Ashland community. As Dr. Elvin Semrad said, “People can never get better without knowing what they know and feeling what they feel.” My life’s work is to ensure no one has to face those feelings alone—and with your support, I can ensure that this mission remains sustainable for years to come.
