A medical device that tells a CPR rescuer that they are perfusing blood to vital organs of the body, the key parameter.

Takhoma is developing a medical device that will tell ALL rescuers performing CPR, that they are perfusing Oxygenated blood to the vital organs of the body. First of its kind on the market.
Knowing in Real Time how to adjust hand location, compression depth, speed of compression, compression release, compression rate ALL are critical for optimizing blood perfusion while administering CPR.  Our device will OPTIMIZE these parameters to achieve optimal blood perfusion to the vital organs of the body on a patient by patient basis.  The key is NOT ONLY to optimize perfusion but to optimize it on a patient-by-patient basis. One approach DOES NOT FIT ALL.  The medical literature has shown that hand placement is CRITICAL.  The location of the heart relative to a particular location on the sternum (Breast Bone) is not idential for all humans. This is why adjusting hand location on a patient by paitient basis is CRITICAL, as is compression depth, rate, and release.

Our customers will be ANYONE who performs CPR on a patient.  Please note the importance of this project. Recently , 2023, thought leaders, academic, medical, researchers have all called for a device that provides physiological feedback during the administration of CPR for research and clinical improvement in outcomes for patients who are in cardiac arrest.  The estimate is that if the performance of CPR can be known by having feedback that blood perfusion is occuring and is being optimized on a patient-by-patient basis, that the saving of 100,000 lives a year might be possible.

Our team is highly experienced and has the Credentials to achieve success with this project.

The founder has 49 years of experience in EMS products, the rest of the team between 30 and 45 years/each, also has experience in SW/FW/Research/Clinical/FDA/Regulatory Compliance in the USA and Worldwide, and in general together we have experience spanning from Research to the development and commerialization of over 14  medical products accomplished with dedicated medical/technical teams of colleagues.

We have the necessary TEAM to develop this product and commerialize it.  Our CFO (Chief Financial Officer) has decades of experience in the financial domain of startups through multiple levels of successful companies.

Our business model is to license our technology to well known respected Medical Device Companies to ensure the widest possible use of our device, Worldwide.

Our team listens and acts upon the recommendations of the medical experts.  We are a humble but passionate group of people dedicated to improving the poor survival rate of CPR patients, still estimated to be ~ 10 % survival rate on average. Some cities in the USA where EMS response time and infrastructure is well established the survival rates are higher, in rural and less developed parts of the World the rate is sadly much lower.
